Drumocracy brings people together to share an interactive rhythm experience that is an engaging learning opportunity utilized in educational, corporate and therapeutic settings. Drumming together can excite change, build trust and enhances organizational performance as groups work together to create beautiful music together.
Our consultants draw on their education, experience and cultural backgrounds to enlighten leaders and their staff to the synergizing benefits of working collaboratively and the renewing benifits of recreational music making.
We can provide drum circle presentations as icebreakers, keynote presentations from 2 hours to weekend retreat presentations and on-site employee wellness programs.
What is a Drumcircle?
There are different types of drumcircles with different intentions. Corporate drumcircles build teamwork and improve corporate functioning. Cultural drumcircles honor the specific rhythms and ceremonies of different cultures. Health & Wellness drumcircles focus on self-discovery and mind-body wellness education and Recreational Community Drumcircles are spontaneous and inclusive gatherings for the purpose of playing together.
The community drum circle provides a safe place where people gather to share a spontaneous recreational rhythmic experience. It is NOT a drumclass! The focus is on participation NOT performance. The facilitator serves the community by sharing their rhythmic spirit with the skills to connect the group to create a musical unity and experience group cohesion.
