Managing Organizational Transition, a program created by William Bridges, assists executives, leaders, managers, and supervisors who are responsible for change implementation help people through the emotional and psychological process that takes place during business reorganization.
“Managing Organization Transition” is a twenty year old educational program that has been used in broad and diverse organizations. The framework, strategies and tools focus on managing the human side of change so organizations achieve the goals important to their success. In addition, participants
learn how to build a practical and workable change management plan. With this information, they are better able to determine where people are in transition; how to guide people to a neutral zone, and utilize the in-between state in a creative and positive manner. In this way, organizational leaders and their staff are better able to launch a new beginning and act on more productive and efficient ways of doing and being.
A second William Bridges program called “Individual Transition in Organizations” is an experiential, tool-based program for employees whose roles, careers, and lives are being impacted by change transition. This program focuses on the emotions normally generated by organizational change.
Participants can learn how to address personal and professional transition in a less disruptive and distressing way. They can also learn how to increase their capacity to process endings and move, in a timely and more comfortable manner, through the neutral zone and into their new beginning.
